Ray Sheehan is a Physician Assistant for Dr. Seifert. He assists Dr. Seifert in surgery and conducts physical exams, diagnoses conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and writes prescriptions. Ray received his bachelors degree in exercise science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where he played division 1 football and was academic all conference. He then received his Masters in physician assistant studies from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY.

As a lifelong athlete, Ray has been around traumatic orthopedic injuries his entire life.  He has seen first-hand how orthopedic care can get people back to doing the things they love and his goal is to help patients do this to the best of his ability.

His experience as a physician assistant has included 2 years of emergency medicine and 2 years in orthopedic surgery. He also has experience in trauma and general surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has received his National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

My goal is to provide quality care to patients with traumatic and acute injuries and help them get back to doing the things they enjoy and love in life.
