Expedite Your Check-In Process with Clinic Q
As the state of California continues to slowly open its doors, we understand
that people may still be apprehensive to spend time in communal areas—including
waiting and reception areas of doctor’s offices. At Newport Orthopedic
Institute, we want to ensure the comfort and health of our patients and
staff—which is why we are now partnering with Clinic Q to provide
our patients with a digital registration & check in process for appointments.
Learn more about how you can fast-track your appointment by registering
and checking in from home with your smartphone or computer.
What is Clinic Q?
Clinic Q is a HIPAA compliant online service that is used to assist patients
with the registration and check-in process, significantly cutting down
on your wait times for your appointment. It can also be used to take care
of your co-pays and bill payments when applicable.
How Does Clinic Q Work?
All you need to get started with Clinic Q is a smartphone or a computer
with an internet browser. Here’s how.
Registration & Checking In
The first time you use Clinic Q, the process will take about 20 minutes
to complete, however, following appointment check-in times will be significantly
reduced. It is strongly encouraged to complete this process at home at
You will be notified within 48 hours of your appointment with a text message
or an email from Newport Orthopedic Institute. You will then follow the
link in the message to safely and securely enter your information and
check-in for your appointment.
With pre-registering and checking in for your appointment before your arrival,
you are able to head straight for the waiting area where you will be promptly
taken to your exam room.
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your given appointment time IF
you have NOT completed the Clinic Q registration & check in process at home.
