Hoag Orthopedics — Orthopedic Education, Research, Fellowship & Outreach
Previously known as the Orthopedic Education and Research Institute (OERI),
Hoag Orthopedics is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by physicians
at Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI). The nonprofit is funded, thanks to
the philanthropic support within the community through the
Hoag Hospital Foundation.
The doctors at Newport Orthopedic Institute believe in Hoag Orthopedics’
mission to share their knowledge of orthopedic medicine for the good of
patients everywhere. As a result, physicians at Newport Orthopedic Institute
participate in the surgical fellowships in sports medicine, joint replacement
and spine surgery to help educate orthopedic surgeons of tomorrow.

The orthopedic surgeons at Newport Orthopedic Institute are proud to be

train future orthopedic surgeons.
